Meaby this info can help http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11711
Previous set up was 2 hard drives, windows xp installed on C: (around 30 gig), D used for storage (80 gig). I moved all my files to D: . Booted Knoppix, ran Qparted set up aproxiemetly 20 gig for knoppix with a 500 meg swap and left 10 gig for maybe a windows install. Which brings me to my questions. Is a later windows install feasable, if not will the partitoned space be usable for something else? Will i even need windows and what exactly will i'll miss out on if anything? When it comes to installing new software, should i stick with the built in package manager and or debian base packages(i guess you call it).And i guess any other general info about what a noob should do or know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Have any questions about my install or need help msg BeatFreaak on AIM.
