Speed Optimization, why the Original runs Faster

Klaus Knopper uses a special order of files since some parts of a CD are read faster than others on most drives. http://mailman.linuxtag.org/pipermai...ry/001593.html

Is it known which remasters (KnoppixKDE, Morphix) also use this kind of speed optimization?

    This is what Klaus uses

    http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=386

This is what he should use :
http://linuxclub.il.eu.org/syscall/ - track all open() calls, put them in a file and make sort list based on that.
