Solved. One has to edit /etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfigix-autoconfig manually.![]()
Knoppix 3.6, English issue, time zone setting doesn't work.
Whichever zone you set, it will not survive reboot.
E.g. I used to set time zone to CEST from Control Center
and at first look it seems to work, but after next rebooting
and typing in console:
knoppix@box:~$date
it throws back something like this:
knoppix@box:~$Fri Sep 10 23:55:26 EDT 2004
what means: time zone is resetted to EDT ( =UTC -4 hour)
instead of CEST ( =UTC +2 hours).
