    Is there any way to start Knoppix on text mode?

    I found Knoppix always started it's XWindow. I don't need this. Is there any way to start Knoppix in text mode?

    yes. boot with cheatcode knoppix 2 (or knoppix26 2 if you want to use the 2.6 kernel).
