You mounted the partition as root without giving any priveleges to the user!
Can you edit/del/move files as superuser after mounting as captive-ntfs?
hello,
cause my windows doesn't boot anymore, i need to fix some files which are on a ntfs partition.
I started captive and downloaded the windows service pack, so that captive has the desired ntfs-drivers.
After that i opened the console, switched to root, and typed in:
umount /dev/hda1
mount -t captive-ntfs /dev/hda1
But i still can't change / create / delete files?
what have i done wrong??
ben
