Knoppix color coding is done in the script file /etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig which is only used with a 'Knoppix style' HD install. Debian style does not do a full hardware search & configure with each boot so does not use this script.
ie - how can I enable it on my Debian install? Done lots of searches on google and here for this; surely someone knows (and is willing to tell me ? As an aside, why isn't there a 'post title search only' option? Only 'title and msg' or 'msg only'; doesn't make sense to me...
Anyway, this is the last 'wishlist' item of mine to 'perfect' my linux machine! Please help Ev'ry-Wan, you're my only hope. (ya I just finished watching the DVD Star Wars Trilogy...forgive me...)
Thanks!
