Hp printer 1000 not printing

my hp 1000 Lasejet doesn't print , every thing seems ok but there is no print out, without any error

This seems pretty similar to the problem of mine

You can try the suggestions given to me by Markus in the topic "Many printers broken... etc." . Please let me know if they worked for you.

ok you can print on your hp 1000 from knoppix '
you need to install win xp in other partition,

fist logon win xp and print test page then restart your computer to logon knoppix and print,

do you thik this is the ?????

that meen we con't leave windows !!!

don't foget to install the foo2zjs first in knoppix!!

I meen you must have windows XP and knoppix installed on your system

1- start windows Xp.
2- print test page.
3- dont shutdown your pc.
3- restart your pc from windows xp.
4- start knoppix.
5- print from knoppix.

i think knoppix driver can't insiolaise the printer to move it from standbay.

Please try printing with a Knoppix version prior to 3.4 (3.3 was known good) or any version of Kanotix since many drivers are missing in the recent Knoppix versions.

Yea, some of the drivers for older or more obscure printers were probably removed because of space issues.
