Passing School Filters?
Can you bypass filters with this program? I mean Thats all i want it for, so if it doesn't its useless to try to figure this thing out.

Yes!
If you boot on a knoppix cd, all the porn in the world will come rushing to you!!
Its the main reason we all use linux...
OK, back to reality.
No it would still use the same net as Windows and hence the filters would still be there.
BUT! You could make knoppix use another computer as gateway for internet and that way
get rid of filters, but
why do you want to surf with no filters?
You have no computer at home and want to use the schools computers for sites they
do not want you to see or what?

depends. if the filter is in thew computers OS (antivir, firewall...). the yes, but most larger networks have routers... that CAN do the filtering, not always implemented...
if it is there it is likely for some sort of reason, and almost ALLWAYS a severe penalty for bypassing.

Sounds like you'd do better to pay attention in class and learn some common sense instead of trying to bypass filters.

get a computer, get an internet connection, install proxy software... copy down the ip and port of the computer you have the proxy installed on, change the internet settings on your browser to go through your own proxy ... AND DONE!!!
or use someone else's proxy...
