my Japanese friend is trying out Knoppix, and gets the following error message,

1:Analog Input
Cannot Display This Video Mode"
He says that he gets this b4 the desktop loads. I've asked him to mail me step by step, his problem. Cheers.

Usually happen to lcd monitor.
Try cheatcodes: vga=791 or vga=normal or any other cheatcodes.
