Yeah!
I can't wait for the demand on some of the servers to go down so that I can get a new copy.
- mknbi bugfix (Caution: mknbi 1.2.12-1 in debian-testing is currently broken)
etherboot network bootwing with knoppix-terminalserver should work again
- scribus update 0.9.7 (thanks to Fabian Franz for the hint)
- Re-enabled >= 32GB support for some old IDE controllers in kernel
- Recompile linux-wlan-ng modules with gcc-2.95
- New knoblind.bat blind-friendly bootfloppy generator by Osvaldo La Rosa
- Support for lang=be in knoppix-autoconfig
- cdrtools update 2.01+a06
- atitvout
- aumix is now started as background task in knoppix-autoconfig
(some broken soundcards seem to block on mixer-ioctls, preventing
the init script to continue).
[EDIT: Sorry this was labeled V3.2-2003-03-24 in a previous post]

Who knows when this version will stabilize.
Too bad my broken Samsung burner won't do CD-R/W but at least it still makes CD-Rs OK.
BTW that latest Nero Enterprise is great software but it only works with w2k or XP.
How does the Knoppix version of burning software stack up?
This isn't the newest, there is a newer release.
As for Knoppix cd-writing software, there are some awesome KDE burning programs out there but I don't think Knoppix has any because it's a bootable CD itself?
There's no-one stopping you from installing Knoppix to your hard disk and then apt-get'ing some burning programs...
I already have Debian testing on the HD. I try to get Knoppix Live CD Linux as close to a HD install as possible using saved configs to keep my changes from session to session. I always back up my last good session in case I screw up the current one. I also save the sessions from the other releases in folders to pull out if I want to go back to an earlier version.
