libkcm_arts.la not found :(

Trying to enter kcontrol -> Sound&Multimedia -> Sound System I got the following error:

The diagnostics is:
Library files for "libkcm_arts.la" not found in paths
Possible reasons:
An error occurred during your last KDE upgrade leaving an orphaned control module
You have old third party modules lying around.
Check these points carefully and try to remove the module mentioned in the error message. If this fails, consider contacting your distributor or packager.

The system is Knoppix3.3/Debian testing.
Any ideas how to fix this error?

apt-get install libkcm_arts.la should reinstall the missing lib. You may have to specify the version number.
I think this lib is part of the kdebase package so you may have to do 'apt-get --fix-missing install kde-base' or you can upgrade to the latest version of kde base with 'apt-get -t unstable kdebase' .

apt-get install didn't work - neither for the libkcm_arts.la file, nor for the kdebase The first one could not be found, the second one said it was already newest version.
But the apt-get install -t unstable kdebase was the key for solving the problem! :]

I think this happened because at the beginning of my Knoppix to Debian update I updated to "unstable". And now (a few months later) I tried to update to "testing". This may be the reason for the missing lib...
