Samba and very slow performance to windows xp sp2

Hi,
I got knoppix 3.6 installed to my hard-drive. My samba works fine and i can browse it and view files etc, but the prolem is that it's VERY slow. Files open very slow and transferring files from my linux samba to windows xp(my second computer) is very slow.
Before this i got 3.4 knoppix installed to hard-drive and it worked just fine, but when i installed this new knoppix to hard-drive it didn't work so fast.

Now i have decreased the problem. My samba works now bit faster, but it's like this -> 15-20min fast and then 5-8min very slow and then fast again.
So it's only slow for sometimes...
