    Wow! It keeps changing .. getting more elaborate.

    IMHO The default Gnome desktop is usually fairly drab - mostly browns and greys. Thanks for giving it some real colours and bringing it to life

    Hope the mods don't kill me for doing this, I'm kind of reluctant to post binary images in a forum, but I know nothing of website hosting/design. I'm a huge fan of Enlightenment and rox combined, with a GNOMEy feel to it.

    Nothing earth-shattering here (running KDE), but here's a screenshot of Kanotix connected to both a WinXP box using rdesktop and a Knoppix 3.7 Live box using FreeNX.

    got so many questions:
    1) how do you get the news feed? where did you get the transparent skin
    2) how do you get the sys info (on west side of your screen)
    3) how do you get the battery indicator?
    4) do you know if apm work for your laptop? what laptop?
