Knoppix + XP = "READ ONLY" NTFS

    Hi all,

I have a Knoppix / Grub install on a single drive laptop. My XP folders / files are now read only and will not change. Searched the forum but did not see anything my specific problem. Can someone please sprinkle some magic answer dust on my problem?

    Please and thank you!

Linux has problems with writing to nt file systems. You have to use captive to enable writing to that partition. Do a search for captive ntfs and there should be plenty of info to get you started.
