Halo 2 hands down.
yeah... what the subject said... WHAT is YOUR favourite GAME that HAS come OUT this YEAR!!! i dont care if its on any platform or if you vote for more then one (much like i am doing), just POST AWAY!!!
mine would have to be HALO 2, and GTA:SA!!!
and the great thing about that, is i dont have an X-BOX, or PS2... the irony...
Halo 2 hands down.
Doom 3 and GTA: San Andreas!
On a side note I've never understood the appeal of Halo and Halo 2... Seems like just another FPS to me but this is comming from someone who plays Zork in his spare time
doom 3, halo 2, and GTA:SA, half life 2 have been the top four games so far... man, imagine how rich the creators of those games are going to be on christmas day...
My fave game to be released this year is Unreal Tournament 2004.
It's the first game I have installed Knoppix for.

I have to say Onslaught is my favorite.
Assult is my favourite... i have only lost once, and thats because i acidently left my computer to do something... left it running...
Halflife 2 and UT2K4
Didnt know you could run UT on knoppix. Any way to install knoppix on seperate partition and dual boot with Win XP? Even if total reformat was necessary? Thanks

TRow, I have 3 OS on my system.
HDA1 - Win98 Fat16, HDA2 - WinXP NTFS, HDA3 - extended partition, HDA4 - Linux Ext2 (my Knoppix install).
I don't have a boot manager.
In Windows I use Partition Magic 7.0 for partition management and resizing.
Right click on the partiton you want to set active, select the LAST item in the popup menu - Advanced
In the Advanced submenu select 'Set active'
Reboot.
In Linux I use QTParted to do the same thing, but when you initially reboot to Windows, you will see the Debian boot management menu. Using PM7.0 again to select another Windows boot partition will clear the Debian menu.

Unreal Tournament 2004 (UT2004)
It is designed for Linux. There was *NOT* a specific Linux only release. The Linux installers shipped with the Windows version.
Patches for UT2004 are on http://www.icculus.org/
As far as I could find, the only Unreal series game that won't run in Linux is the disgrace to the Unreal name - Unreal II ; The Awakening.
