Booting booting... CRASH

ive new at this and ive downloaded knoppix 3.6 on my dell 2600 and brings me to the boot screen and i say knoppix and loads untill it gets to the point where it says loading SCSI ac7xxx.o and then its freezes so i tryed booting knoppix noscsi and it gives me a million errors while its scroling through its loading prosses then it says loadin Xwindow (i think thats it or somthing close to it) and it displays when this is done the computer will shut down and then it shuts down but dosent turn off so i turn off and try to re boot it goes again and the same thing happens in failsafe mode AHH does anyone have ney segestions??

ive searched all of the knoppix.net forums about 10 times and google countless times ive posted on other linix forum sites but not one knows the answer AHHH

Try cheatcode testcd to make sure that the cd is not corrupt.
