fits a usb-stick?
Is it possible to strip down your knoppix version to fit a 256mb memory stick, still working on KDE3? and what about combination with f-prot? this would be a wonderful rescue system (i mean the usb part of this)

I actually like this idea. I am on 56k and dled knoppix a while ago.
A friend of mine actually used one of the discs i burnt to restore an XP system.
Now if all the extras were disincluded like say the games, video players,
graphical editors, and office like software, there'd be enough room to run on a usb key.
The main problem there would be the motherboard recognizing the drive.

Probably easier to add KDE to something like http://featherlinux.berlios.de/
