cpuburn whiptail 3270-common traceroute but these are all little packages won't make much difference.
You might be able to remove python and/or perl..
Have you done apt-get clean to remove any downloaded packages? Have purged all config files (COLUMNS=200 dpkg -l |grep ^rc |awk '{print $2} ' | xargs dpkg -P ) and deborphans? If you run out of packages, you can manually go in & start trashing doc & text files you don't need also image files such as wallpapapers. There are changelog records & copies of gnu copyright all over the place, they are pretty small but there are lots of them.

remove expanded manpage files if a compressed version exists:
