To the best of my knowledge, no there isn't. People are able to get screen shots of Linux installs because anaconda ( the Redhat installer program) has a built in feature that enables people to save screen shots. My solution for this is to run Knoppix/Linux/whatever in a trial of VMWare Workstation and to use the host OS (either windows or Linux) to capture screen shots. At sample screenshot gallery is ast http://shots.osdir.com/slideshows/sl...se=219&slide=1 and from my experience with Vmware & feel they are using it. I have seen other people use other emulation & virtualization programs for Linux so that they could boot a alternative OS, but I have no experience with those.
You could also get screenshots of KDE loading up with the splashscreen by connecting to the machine with VNC and then use the host OS to capture screenshots.
    I hope this helps.

Thanks, I think I will try to use VMWare.

    Cheers
