did you try the "keep settings" option you also use for the normal install?
When I rename my hardrive icons to something less redundent my changes dont keep between reboots.
.ie Hard Disk Partition [hda1]
to just
hda1.
This is a hardrive install.
Everthing else seems fine, app reopen to previous desktop state.
While fairly trivial anyone know how to save these changes between boots?
did you try the "keep settings" option you also use for the normal install?
Quick and dirty: sudo chmod 0 /usr/bin/mkdesktophdicons
thanks
