unable to boot using Knoppix liveCd

Am unable to boot using Knoppix liveCd ver 3.6 , even after using SmartBootManager. SBM keeps saying disk Error. I know it' not , bcos the Knoppix liveCd is readable on another machine.

Any suggestions appreciated.

It could still be a disk error, as many times disks written at high speed can read on some systems but not others. Is SBM saying disk error, or are you getting that after using SBM but actually starting the boot? What happens if you boot directly off the CD without SBM? Care to give us some technical details on the computer, CD drive, interface and such?
