I've been graced with a 1gb pen drive from work, and i want to get Knoppix booting off it, simply because it's too cool of a thing not to do, and i might learn something while i'm at it.
I'm aware of some of the other alternatives, of which have installers; Slax, Damn small linux, Puppy Linux to name a few, but they either don't have the computer-to-computer support, or simply don't have enough cool stuff on them, like Knoppix has.
So how would i go about this? I don't really know where to start, i thought about simply copying the contents of the Knoppix CD to the boot-enabled drive, but i'm pretty sure that it will be expecting to be run from /dev/cdrom, and/or it would be expecting a different filesystem. Anyway, that's why i came here, if there's a better way to do this, if something is going to go wrong that you know of, or if you just have a suggestion, let me know.
Thanks a Bundle.
