i was off serfing the web hoping to come along the path of some nice server distro packages that just run off cd. I was wanting to run a dedicated linux call of duty server on it. I wanted to be able to run both just off cd. so when I wanted i could pop both cds in and load up the software from the other cd and then start running a server to hold game ternoments and what not. The problem with this is i ran into snags. I kept continually running into explinations and other disros that make ne sence at all. I did though run into gentoo which i heared was good to be used as a server distro. my question is though... what is the best kind of dedicated server distro i could find on the web without payin a dime?
