    Broadcom MaxPreformance 54g Wireless

Anyone know where I can find a driver for the Broadcom 54g Max Preformance Wireless NIC that came with this Compaq Presario 2570US Notebook PC?
I searched through google and from what it looks like I'm SOL.

    Hi,

please open a shell and from there run the commands "lspci -v" and "lspci -vn"; then post the relevant output (the lines referencing your Broadcom chip; if in doubt, post all output) here. Chances are, that you may use a driver supplied with some other card...

That's (almost) the same chip that I'm using right now with my wireless card (mine is rev. 03) - see the following two threads for guides on how to get it working:
Problems with Belkin WiFi and Success with Knoppix 3.6 and wireless networking

Thanks for the assistance (especially Tom P). I got iwconfig to see my wireless card now using the bcmwl5a.inf file - the bcmwl5a.inf file seemed to copy more files over to /etc/ndiswrapper/ than bcmwl5.inf did. I am going to set up my Microsoft Wireless Base Station this weekend and see if I can't do anything with the driver now. I may want to note that the pump command failed - but I imagine that thats probably because its not detecting any wifi networks yet?

    Thanks.

I had it working for a while there - but now, it just added a eth0 and eth1 (although I only have 1 ethernet adapter). Any ideas on how to get the wifi to work?
