How did you go about upgrading the kernel? Ideally you should use apt-get.
Hi everyone, I'm quite new to Linux, so be patient! I got KnoppiX 3.7 installed on HD on my ACER TRAVELMATE 291LCi. Hardware recognising has been OK. I tryed then to upgrade to kernel 2.6.10 and problems arouse: Transcend Compact Flash (via PCMCIA adapter) is no more recognised, neither USB memory plug. Can someone give me a hint?
