I have Knoppix v3.6 on my hard drive. While updating with KPackage I discover that cupsys is frequently cited as needing to be removed in order to install upgrades to many KDE items (e.g. Kdesktop, Kicker, ...), as well as to install new KDE components (e.g. JUK). I am using CUPS and it is very reliable and now have the dilemma. How can I go about managing my system?
