I'm working under kanotix with kernel 2.6.11-kanotix-7 , patched for months to actuel Kanotix-status (don't know if it's identical with the 2005/02 Version).
Same error on the full Kanotix 2005-02 version.(don't know if it's identical with the 2005/02 Version).
Please try whether it works from Live CD.
