Locked on "resolving [url]www...."[/url]

I 've knoppix on HD.
I' ve tried a connection to internet ...and it has worked only the first time and now, though the
pppoeconf works fine , when I launch a browser I get "resolving www...." and never the URL is.....resolved ! I 've have put the right DNS in /etc/resolv.conf ....
Do you se something wrong in the log below ???

No, but I think perhaps your lack of response is that you posted in the wrong forum. Knoppix frequently fails to access the network after "installing" it hard disk. I'll move this post to the HDD Install forum for you. You might want to search that forum and see if you can find some older posts that already contain your answers as well. Am I correct in assuming that it worked fine when you booted form CD? You didn't say so, but stating that you have the failure after installing to HD implies that.

Sorry,I've tested knoppix live ..and I've the same exact problem ! (locked on message "resolving host www...." ) . Are there all of the modem drivers possible in a Knoppix installation ?
