Howdy all ..
Wondering if anyone has a good strategy for connecting a thermal sensor, so as to monitor cpu temperatures.
I'm aware that one dosen't connect it to the thermal plate directly ... but ...
I figure, as the thermal plate is slightly raised, maybe, right up next to, but not on top of the plate, would be a good place.Code:-- For an Athlon64 3000 S939 -- -- with the standard boxed fan -- --------------------------------------- # What would be a good location, with regard to cpu monitoring ? # How would you attach it ?
Ordinary tape sounds a bit dicy to use too, as the adhesive would probably melt/leak over time. Possibly just a dab of past would be the better bet there.
Any ideas, much apprieciated
