Wierd Problem With USB Keyboard, Maybe Motherboard Problem

Well, before I used Knoppix 3.2
everytime when i boot the computer, my wireless keyboard (via USB)
is always on. So i can go to option or bios by pressing F2, Del etc.

after i used 3.2 for a few days (it was still working for the first few days)
now everytime when i boot my computer
the keyboard is no longer working
which means, i cannot go to the command and type (knoppix wheelmouse)
    etc.
and the same thing is happening to my windows OS
i can no longer boot from cd (because it requires press any key to boot)
since the keyboard doesn't work during boot process, i can't do anything

    anyone knows what happened ?
i've reinstalled the whole system and even reset the CMOS jumper
    still not working
my keyboard has a USB station thing which sends signal
    thanks

If it doesnt work with windows or linux, it's most definatly a hardware problem, I would have sugested resetting your Bios, but it seems you have already done that.

    nevermind
    i was really stupid
the problem is that knoppix disabled support for usb keyboard
and the option is not easy to see in the bios
    but i finally found it
    and everything works now
    and i'm happy
    thanks though
