How do you create desktop shortcuts in Knoppix/DSL Linux
I know it's a stupid question but I can't find a way to create desktop shortcuts to programs. I am actually using DSL linux based off Knoppix and hoping the solution is similar.
THanks

Any instructions I could give you about Knoppix & desktop icons would not work with DSL. DSL is not the same as Knoppix. Knoppix uses the KDE (K Desktop Environment). Damn Small Linux uses a window manager called Fluxbox. If you need help with DSL, visit the DSL forums http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi
