Can not mount DVD burner
I have replaced a CD burner by a DVD burner SE HL-DT-ST DVD Ram. I am not able to mount it. It is recognized in dmesg as: hdc: HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GSA-4163B ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive. Ifb I try to mount: mount /dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom I get ther message: /dev/hdc ist kein gültiges blockorientiertes Gerät!
Wie kann ich dies lösen?
Thanks for you help!
