I solved problem with acpi=force boot order
Hi All,
i wanted to install linux beside my windows partition. I created and formated 1 partition as linux swap and 1 partition as type ext3 (Partition Magic).
So i tried to start Knoppix via CD to easy install it on HD with help of existing script "kn-install"
It crashed after "Autoconfiguring Devices"
On next step i tried to start K in debug mode.
So well, i realized that the Linux-based VIA-Driver wasn't able to find my SATA-Harddisc(
Without the device-drivers, knoppix doesn't have any problems to start.
But i can't find Hard-Drives or USB-Devices now
Please help
Thanks very much for reading ....
