Knoppix...static wireless?

Hey Everyone,

first off i posted a while back about getting wireless workign within knoppix, but i now managed to get it to recognise my card, find an access points, etc. The only thing it cant do is obtain an IP from DHCP. Does anyone know how to manaualy set an static IP for a wireless card?

Well well, i managed to get it working *jumps around*

The command i used was sudo ifconfig *ath0 192.168.x.xxx

*the ath0 was applied to the card i was using this may differ i assume depending on how your system is setup/configured. Also at the end it says 192.168.x.xxx please replace the x`s with the desired numbers such as 192.168.1.200, etc.

So now i have it working the only problem i have is making knoppix save the config and use it each time it boots, any ideas ?
