    USB Device problems.

    Hello, im new to Knoppix, thus linux in general.

    I Have a problem, whenever i boot up Knoppix, none of my USB devices work, such as keyboard and mouse.


    My mouse is: Razer Diamondback plasma LE.


    Any help is greatly appreciated, guys and girls.

    not much of an idea, need more to work on, when is it they do not work? at boot? after knoppix is started...
    do you see anu messages about USB when booting?

    It comes up, scanning for USB devices, but it doesnt say anything about it after that.


    They work on the boot screen, but once it is actually loaded they do not work.

    Any1 got any ideas?


    I've used a USB->PS/2 "splitter" but that still is not recognised.




    Please help

    weird. hmm try usbmouse as boot cheatcode at boot.

    fact is I am using usbkeybaord and mouse right now. and i have no trouble at all

    I have no problems at all with a USB rodent on my HP notebook. Also use flash memory devices with Knoppix with no problem (not that I've even gotten persistant home and that kind of thing to work, but they are fine as normal storage devices).
