How to enable hardware accellerated graphics with Geforce 4?

Hi,

I habe startet Knoppix 4.0 dvd on my old system containig a NVidia Geforce 4-Ti 4200 display card. However, opengl games like penguin racer are very sloooooowww

Is there a way to enable hardware accellerated 3D graphics in Knoppix?

I've got the same problem with my geforce 440 GO. It sounds like it can't be done.

Well, it can, under Windows, so why not under Linux?

Can be done in linux but the drivers for the geforce don't seem to be on the knoppix live dvd. You can do a install and then aptget them I guess but that kinda defeats the purpose of having a live dvd.
