xproblems aber HD Install on travelmate 260

Hi all,

i run the new gentoo (from 18-04-2003) on the Laptop of my Boss (acer Travelmate 260) and he want a HD Install. Everything just went fine, exapt X.

When X start, its locks very ugly, font is brocken and when you try to login, x crashed an never come up.

Booting from CD is not the Problem, then i try to to copy the x configuration from boot cd to the hd install. But this brings no success.

maybe someone can help me with this problem would be nice, cause knoppix give my boss a good feeling with Linux.

After reconfiguration of the x server and disable of glx no problem left
