    Does Knoppix LiveCD have smp kernel?

    E.g. can I boot smp kernel without installtion, from liveCD?

    Yes. The default kernel in Knoppix is SMP enabled. If for some reason you need to disable SMP, then you enter the cheat code 'nosmp'.
