Say you take with you whatever you are working on on a pen or micro drive

After you finish roaming around and working on your thing wherever you could find a X86 box that would boot knoppix, you return 'home'/to your main machine and want all your stuff in whatever storage you used to be -automatically- synchronized and -backed up-

say you had a document in your primary/main box, ducksinrow.txt. you then transfer it to your pen drive go out to another box and edit it. when you go back you wan for knoppix to create ducksinrow.txt.bck.gz, with a gzipped version of the older fileS and just replace the newer version with the edited/updated one

this functionality is needed, I think. Kind of a 'roaming' conf
