I have a new laptop compaq presario turion 64. knopix does not boot from the cd in spite of I
cheched for the boot ordr and the CD is the first device.
can some one help me?

Stop hijacking other threads and a good place to start would be to read the downloading (and burning) faq found by following the documentation link near the top of this page.
