How to create a MBR and load Knoppix on HD

I am a newbie for linux and just starting to admire knoppix. I want to create a MBR on the Hard drive and then learn how to install knoppiox on the HDD. I looked through many of the FAQs and questions in the forum and did not find specific details. Any help ?

There is a how-to here. Before you install to the HD you will have to create some free space on your HD with a program like Partition Magic for a swap and / partition to install the system too. It is a good idea to run defrag on the drive you are going to free up space on before creating the partitions.

Lilo is written to the MBR during the install to enable you to boot to linux. note you will have to edit the file /etc/lilo.conf to have a dual-boot option so you might want to boot from floppy at first (say no to the Lilo on MBR install during the installation).
