Hi! Well i'm a windows user desparate for help who always turns to linux for help again
Anyway, this time i've got an unknown video card (unknown to windows, that is, knoppix found it out right away) that i need to find the model number/manufacturer for so i can download a driver.
Does anyone know how to find the model number etc. for the card that knoppix is currently using as your primary display adapter? (this is knoppix 3.9 if that helps any)
Try the command:
lspci
or
lspci -v
ok just entered that command as root ... got this big jumble of feedback... think i understand itonly 2 things on there that it could be ... and the s3 is the on-board card so it must be the nvidia one
Thanks so much!
(this is exactly why i absolutely LOVE knoppix)
