after the installation Knoppix doesn't regognize my camera

I just installed knoppix 4.0.2. and met some problems.

Wnen i plug my camera in the USB to save some pictures, knoppix does not rocognize it. When i start it as a LIVE cd it rocognizes it and ever puts a shortcut ot the desktop

Your camera evidently functions as a usb mass storage device. A lot do.

Knoppix CD is setup with it's own mount points internal to itself. Once you install it you have to create your own mount point for YOUR installation.

For starters, use the linux commands below to determine how Knoppix sees your usb camera.

dmesg | grep -i usb

and lsusb

You could post the output for the group to see.
