How do I upload files to my FTP webserver?

Hi, This is another silly question for all the experts around here. But you can easily tell that I am a novice in Linux. I need to use a program similar to SSH that I used on Windows to log on and upload files to my FTP webserver and also download files from there. Can anyone here guide me on how to do that on Knoppix?

Use konqueror. It is a file manager, web browser, ftp client, Windows network browser, SSH/SCP client all in one.
For files just use the URL: /path/to/some/files
For ftp: ftp://username:razz:assword@IP.Addre...ath/to/upload/
For http: http://username:razz:assword@IP.Addr...h/to/download/
For Windows network Samba SMB: smb://domain\username@IP.Address.Or.hostname
For SSH/SCP: fish://username@IP.Address.Or.hostname
