if you want performance why not install Debian.
It should work ok with your hardware WITHOUT the emulator and it will be faster as it is a hddinstall.
Hi,
I've tried many versions of Knoppix up to 4.0.2 on a Virtual PC 7.0.2 running on a iBook G4 with 800Mhz of CPU and 600 of RAM. It's very slow... What can I do? I've heard that Knoppix doesn't work very well on the Virtual PC of Microsoft...
Thanks,
davide
