200mhz or 800mhz?

Hi,
during the start of Knoppix 4.0.2 on Microsoft's Virtual PC 7.0.2. (for Mac OS X.4.3), the program detect that my processor run at 200mhz ca. It's strange, for ist velocity is 800mhz. Is there a solution that can improve the performance of Knoppix on Virtual PC?

that is sadly the cost of emulators. you are "making" the hardware in your CPU and that cost you powr, and then you run your OS that costs power, if you then run a aplication in the emulator...... itt adds upp. sorry but it it how things more or less need to be, there is likely a setting or two you canuse to gett more out of your emulator, but likely not much before your computer will bog down.
