    Connecting to Internet Using Knoppix Live CD

    hi,

    I cant connect to Internet using Knoppix Live CD. I tried installing drivers but no use

    My Computer configration is

    Intel Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz 845 GVSR Mother Board 80 GB hardisk 256 mb RAM

    Drivers for what? What's you'r NIC? What's your Internet connection? Not trying to use wireless, are you? Heck, for that matter, why are you posting in "Other Live CDs" and what distro are you talking about? We are not mind readers, and have no way to help you without more information.

    all you have to do in order to get connected is the followind:
    1. go to the knoppix icon in the taskbar
    2. go to config > set up network card or something like this;
    3. follow the wizard.. is very simple and type ur ip and dns, gw etc...
    4. complete the wizard
    5 you have internet access

    I'd have to go with Kuhman on this one...Not a single aspect of your post helped. Your CPU, hard drive and ram doesn't matter with your internet connection...Is it dialup or broadband?
