I have three questions:
I have a ls120 super floppy that would not seem to work until I did "ln -s /dev/fd0 /devhdd" and then I could see the contents of the floppy disk by clicking on the floppy icon on the desktop. However, when I right clicked on the floppy icon on the desktop to format it, it would bring up the gui dialog box and I would select DOS floppy and click on the "format" button. It would come back immediately and I would click "format" again and it would repeat the behavior. Formatting a floppy should take at least 30 seconds, should it not? I don't think it was formatting the floppy.
(1) how do I format a floppy in my ls120?
So then I proceeded with the command "koppix-installer-latest-web" and then rebooted.
When it came back up, it would not respond to the mouse or keyboard. Previously, the mouse and keyboard were working fine.
(2) how do I fix the mouse and keyboard?
(3) Also, how do I make it come up in american english?
This is a 1999 notebook pentium II 400 MHz computer manufactured in Canada. The brand is Angel.
Thanks,
Siegfried
