Nd help w/ KB3

i am trying retrrive some file off my laptop and burn them to a Cd using KB3 and it says I can only select local files?????? remote files not accepted?
how do I configure it where it will copy my files onto a CD? I need help asap. thanks

Are you saying that you're connected to your laptop through the network and trying to burn its files on another computer? Networks are often not fast enough to transfer the files in time for the burner to burn them to disc, so the program is written so that the file has to be local so that the burner's buffer won't underrun.
