    uninstall stuff?

so um, here is what i did

1)i booted up the computer with the cd
2)it tells me a bunch of stuff
    3)i typed "knoppix testcd"
4)it checked a bunch of stuff
    5)it booted knoppix
    6)i downloaded firefox

Is there any way to uninstall knoppix and its files entirely, because it seems to take up about 10gb of my harddrive :/

HUH?? that does NOT seem right??
knoppix wont TOUCH your hdd unless you manually tel it to.
and then it is READ ONLY, to get it read/write you have to nmake even more things.

I even ran the newer version of Firefox. o.O
I am confused right now, could you explain more?

ah, you installed it in your home dir, that is part of RAM, which means it should dissapear when you reboot.
yes it is all in CD or ram unles YOU tell knoppix to mount a partition, most likely you get everything in a "ramdisk" with a size depending on your available RAM...
there some things that require Dynamical things can happen, like temporarioly saving downloaded files...
and ofcource you can certainly install some things in your homedir if the dependencies are met...
firefox is one program that should work well to install in /home/knoppix, actually most programs if you know how and have a large enough ramdisk (some simple ones should ble realplayer10 and azureus).

are you sure you did not tell knoppix to do a permanent home or such?

i have no idea what a permanent home is, since i have never used anything like linux before
but i guess the 10gb i see is probably from something else
    thanks for all your help!
may try knoppix again sometimes, but not now
